Popular Culture Talk
I've been invited to the University of Nottingham's graduate "Popular Culture Lecture Series" on 12th May 2015 to talk with writer and academic Professor Adam Roberts about science fiction and SF scholarship. The Popular Culture Lecture Series is a new weekly lecture series run at the university, which explores the diverse facets and features of popular culture – including popular novels, TV series, movies and comic books.
The event will be held at the Nottingham Writers' Studio in the Lace Market and will start at 6.30pm. Tickets are free but booking is required.

Dr Caroline Edwards is Senior Lecturer in Modern & Contemporary Literature at Birkbeck, University of London. Her research and teaching specialisms are in 21st century literature and critical theory, science fiction and post-apocalyptic narratives, Marxist aesthetics, and utopianism.
