Siren FM
On Wednesday 2nd May I was invited to join Siren FM's "Midweek Drive" evening show, joining presenter Alex Lewczuk. Guests included the documentary film-maker Phil Leirness, Sci-Fi London fillm festival director Louis Savy, X-Files actor Dean Haglund, and Hollywood writer and producer Arthur Weingarten (who worked on Ironside and Murder, She Wrote).
Since this was the night of the 2012 Arthur C. Clarke Award ceremony (the most prestigious SF award), I was very excited to be live-tweeting with award-goers and chatted with Louis Savy about the trending discussion on the fashions of SF writers and publishers. It was certainly an odd experience being simultaneously on twitter and on radio!

Dr Caroline Edwards is Senior Lecturer in Modern & Contemporary Literature at Birkbeck, University of London. Her research and teaching specialisms are in 21st century literature and critical theory, science fiction and post-apocalyptic narratives, Marxist aesthetics, and utopianism.
