Capital Group
I've recently been involved in running the Capital Reading Group at the University of Lincoln, which meets every fortnight during term-time to read and discuss Marx's first volume of Das Kapital (in English – the Ben Fowkes translation).
The group has a facebook page if you'd like to contact, or indeed join, us. We're still only a couple of chapters into the first volume, and are a friendly bunch! Regular members from the university include Dr Siân Adiseshiah from the English department, and Dr Sarah Amsler and Professor Mike Neary from Lincoln's Centre for Educational Research and Development (CERD). We are open to anyone attending and other members of the group are not associated with the university.

Dr Caroline Edwards is Senior Lecturer in Modern & Contemporary Literature at Birkbeck, University of London. Her research and teaching specialisms are in 21st century literature and critical theory, science fiction and post-apocalyptic narratives, Marxist aesthetics, and utopianism.
